The climate changes - Modern World's Lack of Perspective

I know that the climate-crisis is a debatable topic - Is the climate-changes done by humans? Is it natural? I suppose noone -KNOWS-. However, if you think logically, most likely it is. It is less than 300 years since the first Industrial Revolution occured. In 200 years (maybe even 100) the world's population have been -doubled-!

Now, the world have existed for billions of years.. The industrial revolution occured less than 300 years ago. A direct result of the industrial revolution was the factories, more pollution, more/bigger cities, more money, more products to be consumed, more consumers. In the shadows of this, came ideas like socialism, capitalism, communism etc.

The western world today is based on capitalism. Some countries more liberal than others, but what lies in the bottom is the ideas of capitalism. To produce more products = Creates more labor = Gives more people, more money = Lets people spend more money = Gives room for more products... Repeat. Think about this idea with the well-beeing of mother earth in mind...whoa, that's suicide! When? We don't know. But eventually, it is absolute suicide.

Now if the European Union for example said that cars were illegal..that's unthinkable! I drive my car to work everyday, to the store couple of times a week, to my mother, to my friends.. I NEED my car! Well how old is the car? The modern automobile is about 100 years old.

So, we know that the climate is going through HUGE changes. We know that the human beeing is releasing more CO2 than -ever- before. But will we make -big-, dramatic changes? No! Why? Because of history that only dates 50-100-300 years back in time.

When the north-pole melts along with the southpole, fucking up the currents in the world-oceans today that is so important for the temperatures in northern parts of the world, we will see another ice-age. Noone will be driving cars then either. Yet, I fear that the human beeing will not stop and look 100 years back to re-think our present and future..we will try to milk as much oil and money in a hurry now while we can, before mother earth collapse! Then we'll trade cars for a shovel and a pickaxe so we can dig ourselves a safe cave for our children and grandchildren! If you ask me, you might aswell be smart and start digging right away!
